Paint Correction & Polishing
What is Paint Correction?
Paint correction is a process of restoring and rejuvenating the paint work of a vehicle, mostly through the elimination of surface imperfections. These imperfections include things like swirl marks & fine scratches, bird dropping etching & acid rain etching, hologramming & buffer trails, and random isolated deep scratches (or RIDS).
Using techniques with the machine polisher and polish products that round off the edges of the scratches and make them far less apparent in direct light. Paint correction is a very labor intensive process and is usually the most time consuming part of the car detailing process.
What is Car polishing?
Car polish used to help protect your vehicle. Car polish is used before you apply the wax coat. It is used to remove grease, dirt, scrapes, and scratches that cannot be removed from washing.
Polishes are different from waxes as the polish will remove dirt but will not provide any protection. You want to polish using a circular movement or you can even use an electric car polisher. You do need to be careful, because if you polish too much, then you may take off too much paint and expose the primer or undercoat. Come to autoresort there you can feel the supreme of this service.
